This is the staircase of the old Cape Henry Lighthouse at Fort Story, Virginia looking down from the floor just below beacon deck. I used Corel PhotoShop Pro X4 to first create a black and white image, then used color and the chrome effect to produce the image featured here. Note that you can see one of the buildings on the ground at the top right hand edge of the image.
The original image (below) is interesting all by itself, but the chrome effect emphasizes the geometric elements of the image.

Nice photo. I visited this lighthouse once when i was coming back to DC from Suffolk. A fascinating place.
