Colorful Monotones Challenge – Cape Henry Lighthouse

Old Cape Henry Lighthouse one floor below the lantern deck, looking down the spiral staircase.

30-Renaissance Musings-01

Taken inside the top of the old Cape Henry Lighthouse, Fort Story, Virginia. I converted the original image to black and white, but it was sort of “blah.” I found a “chrome button in my photo editing program, along with some color options and picked this combination. The combination of black and white and chrome really emphasize the geometric patterns of the railings and floor plates.

If you look carefully, you can see buildings on the grounds through the windows in the upper right hand corner of the image.

Thank you. Glad you like it. I created that image long before I got caught up in all of this monochrome mischief.
