New Jersey’s namesake battleship, the USS New Jersey (BB-62) is one of the most storied warships in United States history. After her launch in 1942 her service included World War II, Korea, Viet Nam, and the Lebanese Civil War. She is now a museum ship moored in Camden, New Jersey, and open to the public–hours vary by season. Her status is Reserve Fleet and Museum Ship.
