Monochhrome Madness 2-50

Submitted to Leanne Cole’s Monochrome Madness 2-50.

“Splitting the Pylons”

Vivitar

An air race over San Diego Harbor. Planes fly between and around pylons to achieve the best time.

The pylons are air-filled lightweight fabric so it was possible for the aircraft to hit a pylon and not sustain any damage. This was one of the series of Red Bull Air Races.
