Cumberland Plateau Sunrise

The Cumberland Plateau rises up separating East and Middle Tennessee (the horizon in this photo). We call it a “mountain,” but it rises little more than 1000 feet above sea level. It serves us well, however, providing frequent, colorful sunrises. The plateau is out of sight to the right.
